Good morning, today I will show you how to use a single file to block a list of websites and prevent run on any computer! This tip applies to all versions of Windows, and all browsers on your machine ... In this tutorial I will use the Windows 7 and Google Chrome ... Let's go! How to use the "hosts" file to block any site on Windows! The idea is simple

Open the hard drive or partition where your Windows is installed ...

Follow this path: Windows> System32> Drivers> etc. You will find a file called "hosts" file is concerned ...

Open the "hosts" file using Notepad .

You will find text, commented (not supported) by the symbol "#" ...
To block a site, add two lines in this form:

1 127.0.0.1 www.site.com
2
3 127.0.0.1 site.com

You can replace the IP address 127.0.0.1 with any address except that it should not be linked to the site domain name ...

"Oops ... Google Chrome failed to find the page"

And here's the result! To go further ... You can create an HTML page and install the WampServer to install a local server, and then display the page saying the site is blocked ...
